With a sparkling sun.&nbsp; We, son and father, have walked this site out to have a look at Kim Andrea\u2019s \u201cMaya\u201d. The Sea is so clear.&nbsp; Walk to the other end of the \u201cvillage\u201d to the church. Then the \u201cupper road\u201d home for some lunch. It is a bit late (and blowing) for going fishing, and Oddmund with Kim Andrea\u2019s scheduled job at sea is to check King Krab tejns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp; Planned activities are trips inland (\u00c5ke\u2019s hut and Meeham Harbour\/Sletn\u00e6s lighthouse). Relaxe and admire Kj\u00f8llefjords combination of all nature\u2019s finest aspects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp; Last night, I learnt, that poor fishermen in old time could row from here in open Sea all the way some 200 km down to Lofoten. Tough times. In this house, \u00c5ke Ivar\u2019s, birthplace, was housed parents with six children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp; Half a Century ago children used the harbour platforms to play all day (swim, jump etc.). The Church bells would chime at 20 hrs., and children should go home for the day. The Lensman (police) would patrol with his dog to control appliance. All this has gone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00a0\u00a0 Today many elders are housed in hospital, elders home and in elders houses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-jetpack-tiled-gallery aligncenter
