   Since visiting Kerstin on S\u00f8r\u00f8ya in 2004, Hanne and I have always been captivated by “Lapland”<\/b> ie. FINNMARK, Northern Norway. See our travel-diaries to there 2004, -06, -09, and 2011.<\/p>\n

   WHAT would be better now, where alone, than to ask my son to travel \u201can adventure trip\u201d that overall would be “All the Best”<\/i><\/b>? <\/b>The Ide\u2019a just seems to be BINGO! More than that!<\/p>\n

\n

   Right now, after a meeting last week, Christian is honing a chosen route to get all logistics in place. I find below that my son is simply good at it<\/b>.<\/p>\n

   From the fact that I fumbled around with suggestions, that financially should make our Adventure modest, he makes things unfold elegantly and at the same time “form meaning”.<\/b><\/p>\n

Of course, we must live \u201cas we are in the first class\u201d. Our friends in Kj\u00f8llefjord (from 2004 trip to Kerstin) are advised, as the visit with them must be the highlight of the trip. I promised them to bake pastry and make fishballs, as they existed in Skagen in the old days at Signe and Thomas’s.<\/p>\n

\n

   Starting<\/u> in  TROMS\u00d8 <\/b> will give us all the best about Norway’s last of major cities on the west coast, and it’s really high to the north (maybe 2.000 km north of Oslo?). We take one of Hurtigruten’s beautiful ship (MS Midnight Sun<\/b>) overnight in a cabin up to  Hammerfest, <\/b>where we put a in Troms\u00f8 rented car ashore  (VW Golf)  and  start  towards Alta for a beautiful drive up the Alta river, drive left on from  Kautokeino<\/b>, through the kingdom of the patches (Engholm Husky<\/b>), Samer Parlement<\/b> in  Karasjok<\/b>) up to Kirkenes<\/b>  and 100 km down the bottom of the Pasvik Valley<\/b> towards Russia. Pasvik Camping might offer us a cold swim in the river opposite Russia after a sauna? Then it is north again and via Kirkenes and Tana <\/b>further up towards Kj\u00f8llefjord<\/b> with two, three experiential days there, with friends from2004. Brothers Oddmund<\/b> and \u00c5ke Ivar<\/b> w. families.<\/p>\n

\n

   Then, with the car in the cargo to Honningsvr\u00e5,<\/b> three hours in the middle of the night (MSRichard With<\/b>, named after the founder of the route). I wonder if we’re going to visit one of the two big SPA’s up on the top deck for the few hours this trip takes? Then it\u2019s a shore one early morning and then quite a long road trip via Alta “home to Troms\u00f8<\/b>” for handing over our car at Airport.<\/p>\n

\n

    A late-night flight takes us via Oslo home for Sunday. Home to the others who so hopefully one day can experience the trip too. First, though, via reading of our “Diary.”<\/p>\n

PS:<\/p>\n

   It has proved expedite to distribute roles. When Christian’s got everything made up,<\/b> we are ready. The trip itself becomes just “a piece of cake”.<\/b> Luxury and not expense-wise unreasonable. We’re just good!<\/p>\n

\n

   The first two weeks of September are ahead of autumn really setting in, but with beautiful birch wood colors. The mosquitoes are probably losing energy (disappearing). There will still be midnight sun and long days. We both expect car driving to be OK, also, as there are not many people living in Finnmark.<\/p>\n

   The cruising through empty wilderness will have many natural sights waiting us.<\/p>\n

Elk, Reindeer (by the thousands), Brown Bears, Polar foxes, Eagles, Sea Gulls, Owls).<\/p>\n

\n

   We plan to eat a lot of fish (shark, tuna, trout, salmon, cod, king crab, oysters, crabs etc., etc.).<\/p>\n

I can’t wait to leave as a son and a father!<\/p>\n

DAGBOG for 2020 rejse i Finnmark, Norge, med Christian.<\/h1>\n

Troms\u00f8 til Troms\u00f8. 1.  –  12. September 2020<\/h2>\n

   Hanne  og jeg har siden bes\u00f8g hos Kerstin p\u00e5 S\u00f8r\u00f8ya i 2004 altid v\u00e6ret betaget af \u201dLapland\u201d<\/strong> dvs. FINNMARK, Nord Norge. Se vores rejsedagb\u00f8ger til der 2004, -06, -09, og 2011.<\/p>\n

   HVAD ville v\u00e6re bedre nu, hvor alene, at end at bede sin s\u00f8n om, at rejse en oplevelsesrejse, der samlet ville v\u00e6re \u201dAlt det Bedste\u201d?<\/strong><\/p>\n

S\u00f8reme, om det ikke bare ser ud til at kunne v\u00e6re BINGO! Mere end det!<\/p>\n

   Lige nu finpudser Christian, efter et m\u00f8de i sidste uge herom, en valgt rute mhp. at f\u00e5 al logistik til at falde p\u00e5 plads. Jeg oplever herunder, at min s\u00f8n bare er god til det.<\/p>\n

   Fra, at jeg famlede rundt med forslag, der finansielt skulle g\u00f8re vores Adventure beskedent, f\u00e5r han ting til at folde sig elegant ud og samtidigt \u201ddanne mening\u201d.<\/strong> Vi skal selvf\u00f8lgelig leve som p\u00e5 1\u2019ste klasse. Vores venner i Kj\u00f8llefjord (fra 2004 tur til Kerstin) er adviseret, da bes\u00f8get hos dem skal v\u00e6re turens H\u00f8jdepunkt. Jeg har lovet dem at bage wienerbr\u00f8d og lave fiskeboller, som de fandtes i Skagen i gamle dage hos Signe og Thomas.<\/p>\n

  Start<\/u> i TROMS\u00d8 <\/strong>vil give os alt det bedste ved Norges sidste af st\u00f8rre byer p\u00e5 Vestkysten, her h\u00f8jt mod nord. Polarmuseum mm. Vi tager s\u00e5 sent om eftermiddagen en af Hurtigrutens flotte skib (MS Midnatssol<\/strong>) natten over i kahyt frem til Hammerfest<\/strong>, hvorfra vi s\u00e6tter en i Troms\u00f8 lejet bil i land (VW Golf) og starter mod Alta for en smuk k\u00f8retur op langs Alta elv, k\u00f8rer venstre om fra Kautokeino<\/strong>, gennem lappernes rige (Engholm Husky<\/strong>), Samerting i Karasjok<\/strong>) frem til Kirkenes<\/strong> og 100 km ned i bunden af Pasvikdalen<\/strong> ind imod Rusland (Pasvik Camping)<\/strong>. S\u00e5 er det nord p\u00e5 igen og via Kirkenes og Tana <\/strong> op imod Kj\u00f8llefjord<\/strong> med to, tre oplevelsesrige dage der, hos venner fra 2004. br\u00f8drene Oddmund og \u00c5ke Ivar m familier.<\/p>\n

   Derefter overfart med bil i lasten til Honningsvr\u00e5<\/strong> tre timer midt om natten (MS Richard With<\/strong>, opkaldt efter rutens grundl\u00e6gger). Mon ikke vi skal i en af de to store SPA\u2019er oppe agter p\u00e5 \u00f8verst d\u00e6k, de f\u00e5 timer den tur tager? S\u00e5 er det fra borde en tidlig morgen og s\u00e5 en ganske lang biltur via Alta \u201dhjem til Troms\u00f8\u201d for aflevering af bil i Lufthavn. Et sent aftenfly bringer os via Oslo hjem til s\u00f8ndag. Hjem til de andre, som s\u00e5 forh\u00e5bentlig en dag kan opleve turen ogs\u00e5? F\u00f8rst dog via l\u00e6sning af vores \u201dDagbog.\u201d<\/p>\n

   S\u00c5DAN !<\/p>\n

PS:<\/p>\n

   Det har vist sig ekspedit at fordele roller. N\u00e5r Christian har \u201df\u00e5et alt i hus\u201d,<\/strong> er vi klar.<\/p>\n

   Selve turen bliver blot \u201da piece of cake\u201d.<\/strong> Luksus og ikke udgiftsm\u00e6ssigt urimelig. Vi ER bare gode!<\/strong><\/p>\n

   De to f\u00f8rste uger af september er f\u00f8rend efter\u00e5r rigtig s\u00e6tter ind, men med flotte birketr\u00e6s farver. Myggene er nok afd\u00e6mpet. Der er stadigv\u00e6k ganske megen midnatssol og lange dage.<\/p>\n

Bilk\u00f8rsel forventer vi begge bliver OK, da der ikke bor mange i Finnmark. Vi skal spise en masse fisk (haj, tun, \u00f8rred, torsk, kongekrabbe osv., osv.). Det bliver ogs\u00e5 herligt at bade i elvene, s\u00e6rlig efter Sauna? Vi ser nok en masse rensdyr, elge, brunbj\u00f8rn? polarr\u00e6ve, \u00f8rne, ugler etc.<\/p>\n

Jeg gl\u00e6der mig til at rejse som s\u00f8n og far!  <\/p>\n
